The voluntary Sector, (community and voluntary sector or not-for-profit sector) is diverse and covers everything from local community groups to social enterprises and local, national and international charities. People can work in the Voluntary Sector as either paid staff or volunteers and trustees. Some organisations are run entirely by volunteers whilst others have a mix of paid staff and volunteers.
